Basic Budgeting

This is a tool that members can use to establish basic household budgets.  Budgeting is an art form–but doing it successfully is very important to successful money management. Click HERE to download a budget form. And don’t hesitate to call one of our credit counselors for assistance.

Check Re-Ordering

Your first re-order of checks must be completed by our Service Center.  Once you are established in the system, you can then order HERE.

Financial Literacy

The credit union offers Financial Literacy opportunities to our communities when possible.  Some ongoing programs exist.  Examples include Dollar Dog Savings Accounts for Kids, and the School Branches at Grayling Elementary, Houghton Lake Middle School, Roscommon Elementary and Roscommon Middle School are examples of continuous efforts to improve financial literacy in our communities. North Central also participates in occasional opportunities offered by our communities like Neighborhood Connections, Job Fairs, and Business Expos. Click HERE to learn more.

Scholarship

North Central offers annual scholarships to adult learners. Our scholarship window is open September 1-October 31 each year. Please check back during this time for application and more information.

Free Credit Report

Credit reports may affect your mortgage rates, credit card approvals, apartment requests, life insurance or even your job application. Reviewing your credit reports helps you catch signs of identity theft early. Federal law allows you to get a free copy of your credit report every 12 months from each credit reporting company. It is important to ensure that the information on all of your credit reports is correct and up to date.

Report Lost or Stolen Cards

You can report a lost or stolen credit/debit card using the numbers listed for the card you need to report. It is important that you call the correct number as each is specific to the type of card you are using.

Please note that you may be asked to give your name, our full business name (North Central Area Credit Union), and the last four digits of your Social Security Number, your address or phone number in order to verify your account.
