We are again receiving reports that members are getting fradulent text messages and/or emails with reports that systems are down, software is out of date, or cards have been inactivated.
REMEMBER: NCACU will NEVER call, text, or email you to ask you for your account number. The communication often asks the member to call, email or log in to a website where they are asked to GIVE their account number.
We have that information. Always consider any incoming communication that you are asked to give account information as a SCAM. We appreciate members letting us know about suspicious activity. It is always ok to call your local branch if you are concerned.
