NCACU is Responding to COVID-19

NCACU is dedicated to protecting our members, our staff and our communities.  We recognize that these are unprecedented times–we can’t draw from others’ experiences, because no one has done this before. We must plot our own path and move forward as best we can. NCACU is working closely with the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) and the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) to make sure that any actions we take are in the best interest of both our members, our staff, and the credit union.

We all are navigating our own challenges including loss of daycare, loss of opportunities to earn income, and illness or caring for sick family, just to name a few. We know the days will get darker before they get lighter. But the days will get lighter and until then, we all must band together to get through this time.

First and foremost, we assure you that your money is safe at NCACU and funds are insured with the NCUA and insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States of America.

Hardship Assistance

We genuinely care for our members on a personal level and have established trusted relationships with members and the community.  To further support our members and community we have implemented measures to alleviate the economic impact the Coronavirus is making on our community.  If you are concerned about your financial well being during this time we encourage you to reach out to your branch manager for support and assistance.

  • Low-Interest Credit Card Balance Transfers
  • Hardship Loans to cover loss of income

Service Center Support

Reach out to our Service Center at (989) 910-5135 for phone support of transaction services, disputes, or other inquiries.  Our Service Center is open 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday through Thursday and on Fridays from 8:30 am to 6 pm.  You may also reach out via email at contactus@ncacu.org, but please do not send confidential information like account numbers through email.

Members are encouraged to use alternate means of banking as much as possible for the safety of our staff and members.  The less face-to-face contact we have the better off we all are.  You can access your funds through It’s Me 247 Online Banking, the free Mobile App available in the Apple or Google Play Stores, ATMs, Drive-Thru Lanes, and Night Deposit Boxes.

Our lobbies are open! We have reserved the first hour of business on Tuesdays and Thursdays for seniors and high-risk members. Under Executive Order 2020-153, visitors must wear a face covering while in the branch. We appreciate your cooperation.
