IRS Identifies Dirty Dozen Tax Season Scams

Members need to remain vigilant and not fall prey to phone and email scams that are prevalent this time of year.  The IRS just released the “Dirty Dozen” top scams members could be seeing.  Remember NEVER give out personal information to anyone who calls on the phone or asks for it in emails.  Don’t answer calls from numbers you don’t recognize and NEVER confirm account information or personal information.  The legitimate companies that you use, HAVE your account numbers they will not call you and ask for it.  Read More about trending scams here:  http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Completes-the-Dirty-Dozen-Tax-Scams-for-2015
