New Home For Standish!

North Central Area Credit Union recently announced the purchase of a new property in Standish, MI, and plans to build a new state-of-the-art branch centrally located in the Business District along US-23.  NCACU closed on the property at 3768 South Huron Road in early November and plans to break ground in the spring of 2025 with a projected open date of Fall 2025.

North Central acquired the current location at 212 Court Street in a merger in 1985, but the building has limited space and is poorly located in a residential area.  “We are honored to offer this new location to our members who have been faithful to us for many years.  The new location will increase our visibility on the main thoroughfare and help us grow our credit union,” said CEO Mark Richter.

NCACU is proud to invest in the Standish community and encourages local contractors to consider opportunities with the new build by emailing info@harmonmanagementllc.com. NCACU will implement new green energy options for the new building, including overall energy efficiency, LED lighting, and solar power panels, utilizing a smaller carbon footprint for future generations. From a service standpoint, the new location will offer a more modern branch with a drive-up ITM/ATM, which is new compared to the current walk-in service, and the location will be much more convenient for members doing errands on work breaks or lunch hours.  Our goal remains to be the top financial institution in the area.

Our staff will continue to serve members at our current location of 212 Court Street in Standish and will remain open until we transition to the new building. “We are super excited about the new location, as we know it will offer a lot of convenience to our membership as well as a more usable staff space,” said Jen Eubank, Standish Branch Manager.
