Celebrating Juneteenth:

Join Us as We:
- Reflect on Our Vision: Juneteenth is a day to engage with our ongoing mission, empower individuals, and uplift communities. At NCACU, we are committed to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for all.
- Educate and Engage: We encourage our staff and members to participate in community events and educational programs that honor this day’s history. By learning from the past, we can better understand how to shape a more inclusive future.
- Act and Advocate: Juneteenth is a call to action. We invite our members to join us in initiatives that support local communities and promote social justice.
Join us as we commemorate Juneteenth and reaffirm our dedication to building a more inclusive and equitable society for all. Together, we can make a difference.

May
This month, we’re excited to share our involvement in initiatives championing local businesses, healthy living, and mental health awareness.
Connecting with Local Businesses
First is our participation in the Business Expo for the Higgins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Stop and see us from 3 to 6 pm!
Expo 2024 offers a platform for entrepreneurs to network, showcase their products and services, and discover resources to fuel their growth. NCACU proudly supports these local businesses while showcasing our insights on financial wellness and business banking solutions. Fostering business growth is reflected in the success stories of local companies we serve that flourish with our support.
Walking Together for Mental Health Awareness
Join us for the 22nd Annual Stomp Out Stigma Walk for Mental Health on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Grand Valley State University.
This event underscores our commitment to mental health awareness, with proceeds supporting the Be Nice Programs in West Michigan. These initiatives are crucial in educating students about mental health and transforming stereotypes into understanding, compassion, and acceptance.
The walk begins at Grand Valley State University via the Seward Parking Lot and takes participants along the scenic GR Riverwalk route. Registration is free, and those who raise $100 will receive a 2024 Walk T-shirt. This is an opportunity to stand together, raise awareness, and support a vital cause.
Running for a Healthier Community
NCACU is thrilled to support the upcoming Buck Creek Run in Grandville on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
This event is more than a race; it’s a celebration of community and health where participants challenge themselves and support one another. To support wellness, we’re providing a complimentary NCACU towel to all participants. Join us in lacing up your running shoes and making strides towards a healthier tomorrow.
Join Us!
We encourage our members and the community to join us by participating, volunteering, or simply cheering on those taking part. Together, we can significantly impact growth, health, and understanding within our communities.
