A well-stocked community food pantry can help make a meaningful difference for a neighbor facing a difficult holiday season.
NCACU’s annual food drive as a new name – Pack the Pantry – but the same important purpose: We are raising funds for local food pantries. Our goal in each branch is to raise enough money so the pantry can order a food truck – around $1,000.
The food pantries across Michigan have been hit especially hard this year with many families struggling to make ends meet. We’re inviting members to join our cause by donating money to our fund. Every dollar counts and when you combine your dollars with our dollars – we can make a huge impact!
We’re collecting monetary donations November 1-30, 2026, and share the funds with local food pantries in December.
