It’s our largest fundraiser of the year.
In collaboration with Put on the Cape: A Foundation of Hope, we generate thousands of dollars annually to support children in need. These funds help provide at-risk kids with services, clothing, and toys.
This year, we’re assisting three child advocacy centers:
- Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center serving Crawford, Iosco, Ogemaw, Otsego, Oscoda, and Roscommon Counties.
- CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect) Council supporting children in Arenac County.
- Kent County CAC (Children Advocacy Center) serving children in Kent County.
How you can help:
Throughout September, members can donate at any office — $1, $5, or more — any amount is appreciated! Or you can participate in our Super Main Event on September 23rd. It’s a unique and awesome event offering fun for everyone.

There will be face painting, cornhole, a fun run for kids, a 5K run, and visits with first responders. If you can’t make it in person, join our Virtual 5K! You can donate to the cause when you register, dress in your favorite superhero garb, and run or walk in your neighborhood.

Superhero September is also a perfect opportunity for a work team-building event. Businesses can sponsor an event or teams for the Virtual 5K, 5K Event, or Disc Golf. We look forward to you joining us for this community effort in a way that fits your life!
