Superhero September

Superhero September is North Central’s largest fundraiser of the year.  It is our community reinvestment in collaboration with the Put on the Cape: a Foundation of Hope and we generate thousands of dollars in support of three local Child Assessment Centers–Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center serving Crawford, Iosco, Ogemaw, Oscoda, and Roscommon Counties; the CAN Council which supports children in Arenac County, and the Kent County CAC supporting Kent County.

Plan to dress up as your favorite Superhero and come out and walk, run or roll to help protect our children! This year we are also offering a Disc Golf Skins Match with a chance to win money on every hole!

Superhero September Is Coming!

This year’s theme is LIGHT UP THE DARK!, featuring a glow-in-the-dark feel for many events.

Get ready for the biggest NCACU event of the year! Superhero September, in collaboration with Put on the Cape: a Foundation of Hope, is our largest fundraiser, and we need your support to make a difference in the lives of children in need. This annual event helps us generate thousands of dollars to provide at-risk kids with essential services, clothing, and toys.

This year, we are proud to support three incredible child advocacy centers:

  • Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center: Serving Crawford, Iosco, Ogemaw, Otsego, Oscoda, and Roscommon Counties.

Business Sponsorships

Superhero September is an excellent opportunity for area businesses to get involved and support the community. Consider sponsoring an event or forming teams for the Golf Outing, Virtual and In-Person 5K Event, or Disc Golf. It’s a fantastic team-building opportunity and a great way to give back.

At North Central, we believe in the power of community and the importance of everyone’s involvement. How you choose to participate isn’t as important as being part of this wonderful cause. We care. We ARE North Central, and we’d love to see you.
